I started to learn to drive with another instructor who offered cheap lessons. After 5 hours I felt I'd learnt nothing and was never going to pick it up. A friend recommended me to try Ian and I'm so glad I did! I learnt and understood so much more in my first lesson with Ian than all my previous lessons combined. It's a relaxed and happy atmosphere and if I do something wrong, Ian will explain what I did and not shout like my previous instructor. I really look forward to my lessons each week now.

Words are not enough to express how wonderful I think Freedom School of Motoring and Ian are. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. At the age of 26 having never been behind the wheel of a car, the thought of it terrified me and I figured I was a lost cause who would never be able to do it. However with Ian's support, faultless tuition, dedication and belief in me, my confidence grew and I passed first time! He is truly great at what he does, has the patience of a saint and a great sense of humour. I cannot thank him enough for everything he has done and I will really miss spending time with him every week!

I always believed that driving would finally allow me to do my own thing without relying on someone else, but as my first lesson approached all I could think to myself was "Ellis try not to kill anyone", the stress kept building and building until Ian first knocked on my door and I got into the car and he started to explain what the lessons would involve and step by step how the basics of driving. All of sudden the stress vanished. My driving lessons became something I looked forward to, and now they are over I honestly miss them. Ian is the best instructor I could have asked for; making lessons fun and enjoyable but also explaining things clear and concisely and making sure you are safe at all times. Ian is the only instructor I would 100% recommend. I dearly miss my driving lessons but Ian is now a firm friend and I know if I need him for any driving queries he is the man to call

Ian is a very professional, dedicated and enthusiastic driving instructor who makes learning to drive fun at the same time. The Mini you learn in is very smart and lovely to drive. I know a lot of people who have chosen Ian to teach them to drive and everyone has complimented on how good he is. I was learning with Ian for 2 hours a week and enjoyed it thouroghly and would recommend him to anyone.

I started driving from scratch with Freedom, hadn't had any other driving experiences and im glad i opted with Ian as he made driving an enjoyable and relaxed experience! I was able to progress at my own pace without being rushed, and lessons were always flexable! I passed 1st time too and have recommended Ian highly to many of my friends. Im glad i chose Freedom as it was my road to success, literally :)

When I first started learning to drive I was insanely nervous and incredibly scared! But as soon as I sat behind the steering wheel with Ian, that completely faded. I actually really enjoyed learning to drive. Every lesson was a laugh, and Ian made sure I was driving safely and properly at the same time as making it fun. I don't think I could have wanted a better experience whilst learning to drive, and now I don't even think twice about jumping into my car and driving off. If you want to pass that test and have fun whilst learning how to do it, seriously, go with Ian!!! I actually miss my hour and a half driving lessons every week...and I never thought I'd be saying that when I first started learning to drive!

After trying, and failing, to learn to drive for years, I thought it was because I was a bad learner, but as soon as I met Ian I realised it was because I had been unlucky enough to have bad instructors - there are so many charlatans in the driving trade but Ian Jones is the real deal. If you want to cut out the nonsense and get that licence with ease give him a call. It will be the best thing you have ever done.

I can't speak highly enough of the service provided by Ian during the 5 months I was learning with him. He's extremely professional and yet made every lesson fun so it was rather sad when my lessons came to an end. He tries his best to accommodate his students and their timetables, jobs etc, even if it means putting himself out. Thanks to Ian's patience and guidance, I passed my test first time and will be ever grateful to my friend for recommending him to me.

I can not recommend Freedom School of Motoring highly enough. Having had a number of disastrous tests as a teenager I had found it difficult to have another go later on. Ian was brilliant! He built my confidence and explained so many things that had never been explained to me before that made me a far better driver. The lessons were great value for money and I passed first time with Ian. Ian is a very genuine person who is excellent at his job and I now consider him a friend of mine and miss having the lessons!!

I can honestly say that learning to drive with Freedom was probably the most painless driving experience anyone could wish for. Ian is an exceptional instructor who is a natural at his job. I always felt safe and in good hands. The customer service he extended to me (and also to my family) was exceptional and I feel switching to Ian as an instructor quickly turned me from a nervous, shaky beginner into a confident driver who passed first time. I cannot recommend Freedom highly enough!
